	Christianity Explored Course Mondays, 2^nd June – 14^th July 2008 We will be running the Christianity Explored course on Mondays. This will start on Monday 2^nd June 2008 and will take place each Monday until the 14^th July 2008. Here is some information from the Christianity Explored website: “Developed over 10 years, Christianity Explored is a free informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores through Mark’s Gospel who Jesus was, whathis aims were, and what it means to follow him”. What goes on? Each evening starts with a meal (7pm), so don’t worry if you have to come straight from work. The course is normally run in several groups of 6-9 people, and after briefly discussing the course material from the week before, there is a DVD on the theme of the week. The groups then discuss any questions that have arisen, and the evening ends at 9pm. Of course, if you’d like, you’re welcome to stick around a bit longer for a coffee to discuss any further issues you might have. Do I need to bring anything? No, all course materials are provided. Do I have to speak in the group? Not if you don’t want to. You are welcome to come and just sit and listen. Is it ‘churchy’? We hope not. It’s not a church service. There’s no praying, singing or clapping, and you won’t be asked to read aloud. Why is the course run? Christians count it as a real privilege to explain the truth and relevance of the Christian message. We don’t have all the answers but believe that we have exciting news to share about Jesus Christ.
