Welcome to the homepage of Bryn Baptist Church, which is located a few miles outside Wigan in the north west of England.
Bryn Baptist Church is an independant evangelical church of about 150 members of all ages that is committed to the clear proclamation of the Christian gospel of salvation by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. We aim to maintain a community in which Christians can grow in their faith and serve God to His glory.

| The task of preaching the Word is discharged by gifted men from within the fellowship and visiting preachers from the locality and further afield. There are several activities in the church that are designed to reach out to specific groups, such as young people, those with special needs, mothers and toddlers. There is a busy programme of special events that varies from year to year. For example: we have delivered postcards throughout the area with a view to praying for the needs of people in each street in Bryn and Ashton-in-Makerfield; and each year we have a ‘football outreach’ on a local school playing field, which attracts a large number of children from the area and aims to meet their spiritual as well as sporting needs. There is strong commitment to mission at home and abroad.
The church supports several missions and we have regular visits from
their representatives to keep us informed of their work. |
