Our second Discipleship Explored course finished 7th December ’09. Here is a selection of comments from participants:
I’ve enjoyed discussing the Bible studies and learning from each other – reading the Bible each night and thinking about the questions – being in a group each week and getting to know each other.
I’ve enjoyed the company, the discusions and learning about discipleship. It’s challenged my concepts/precepts about discipleship/Christianity. In all seriousness, thoroughly enjoyable.
I’ve enjoyed knowing people from a different perspective – Christian discussion and not just ‘chit chat’. It causes you to think more deeply about a passage because of the discussion.
I’ve enjoyed all aspects of the course – talking together/sharing. The video was excellent and our leaders were very open and understanding. I like the new ways that we were able to consider the Bible.
I enjoyed the people, the sharing of lives and thoughts. That’s the best part of this because it’s so encouraging hearing that others go through similar experiences and get as much from God’s Word as you. Just being able to talk about God with like minded people, and second to that and nearly as good(!) was the content which I doubt could be improved. When are we doing Ephesians?!
I’ve loved the discussions we’ve had and the questions from new Christians. The whole course has deepened my relationship with the Lord. I’ve enjoyed every minute.
I have enjoyed the in-depth study of the Word. The Word is so rich and it’s great to think through the Word and how it applies to our lives.
It was well executed. It was led by prayer. It was a nice relaxed environment and people were able to open up and ask questions. I really enjoyed the fellowship.
I’ve enjoyed everything: discussing the Bible, learning more and more and the fellowship with one another.
